Nikon D7000

Review:  We are a photography teacher in NYC an internet-based. (See my Amazon profile for my website.) I teach beginner and intermediate photography students per week. I've already been a specialist photographer going back five-years with images published inside New York Times, GQ, Ny Magazine, Women's Wear Daily, The brand new York Observer, The Village Voice and Day trip The big apple.

(This review is designed for beginner photographers.)

For anyone who is a newcomer, you're more than likely wanting to know: Nikon or Canon? Really, I believe confident in proclaiming that you can't go wrong with either. I've used both brand's cameras extensively and locate they both offer amazing image quality with well-built, solid cameras that, if dealt with, lasts decades. There are 2 differences between cameras, though, which might be taken into account.

The user-interface: If cameras were computers, Nikons would be PCs and Canons could well be MACs. PCs are meant for folks unafraid of technology whereas Macs are made for many who want things super-easy. Nikons excel at customization options this means you will see so much more options while using the Advanced popular features of a Nikon than you will that has a Canon. Canons, alternatively, do well at ease-of-use for freshies. Canons offer less advanced options and can be better to learn on. This can be frustrating down the road, though, when you have many userful stuff here about photography. When this occurs you'll probably decide each of the options that Nikon offers and turn into frustrated with all your Canon. In case you are a person that really wants to delve deep into your hobbies or if you're intent on transforming into a professional photographer, I'd say a Nikon can be the best choice. If you are somebody that really wants to educate yourself on the basics of photography and only imagine yourself as a hobbyist, Canon is a better option for you.
